Proportion of closed pores approx. 90%
Not flammable - building material class A
Excellent fire protection properties (cooling effect)
May be applied in liquid form
Foams very homogeneously
Raw material is fibre-free
Is classed as building rubble - similar to concrete; ecological disposal
Material can be used hydrophobically
Dyeing with mineral dyes possible
Heat conductivity can be adjusted according to application
Constituents: not derived directly from petroleum, hence the development of the raw material price is easier to forecast
